Is it free?
Yes. Maasroti is completely free and non-profit. In the future we may add optional advanced features without affecting the free core.
How do you protect privacy and data?
We use industry-standard security practices, store only what’s needed, and never share personal data with third parties unless required by law or with your consent.
How does it work in short?
You record income and donations. The system calculates the required maaser, tracks coverage, and shows a clear monthly/yearly snapshot.
How is the maaser amount calculated?
By default it’s 10% of net income. You can change the percentage in Settings. The system computes automatically and shows surplus or debt.
What donation types are supported?
One-time, recurring (monthly), installments (fixed count), and limited/unlimited length. Each shows status and progress.
How do installments work?
Set the total number of payments and how many were completed. The system tracks progress and knows when the commitment ends.
Do you support multiple currencies?
A single base currency (ILS or USD) is used for calculations. Entries in a different currency are marked as converted using the fixed rate from Settings.
What happens at year end?
Choose in Settings whether to reset the balance at the start of the new civil year or carry surplus/debt into the next year.
Are there reminders and notifications?
Yes. You can receive reminders about ending donations, accumulated debt, and a monthly summary. No spam and you can disable anytime.
Do I need an account to use it?
Yes. An account securely stores your data and lets you access it from any device.
How can I suggest an improvement or report a bug?
Use the 'Send feedback' link in the main menu. We appreciate ideas and reports to make the system better.
